This artwork was made in response to the theme of ‘power’. The concept behind the drawing was to depict common sayings and political metaphors used to describe shifts and movements in power ranging from; puppet government, sunset clause, grassroots, dark horse, eminence gris, poison pill, wrecking ball and parachute candidate, to name a few. There were six other artist who responded to the same brief, shown below, each artwork a unique interpretation on the same topic.
