Darkness in Summer

Considered as one of the first works of fiction to focus on the Japanese experience in the West, this novel by Takeshi Kaikō follows the relationship of two lovers living in West Germany after World War Two. I was commissioned to illustrate the cover for the Spanish edition published by Sexto Piso.
